FALL 2025 WORKSHOP

Fall 2025

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR.
(JUNIOR DIVISION)

* Directed/Choreographed by Samantha Kemp

Are you our Troy or Gabriella?
Join the cast of this dynamic, high-energy musical where friendships are tested, cliques are challenged, and everyone gets a chance to shine!

Disney’s High School Musical JR., based on the smash hit Disney Channel movie, bursts onto our stage with infectious songs, fun characters, and spirited dancing that will have performers and audiences cheering.

It’s the first day back after winter break at East High, and the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes are settling into their usual cliques. But things take an unexpected turn when basketball captain Troy discovers that Gabriella—the smart, shy girl he met singing karaoke on vacation—has just enrolled at his school. When the two decide to audition for the school musical, they disrupt the social status quo, sparking tension among their peers.

As Troy and Gabriella follow their passion, they inspire the rest of the school to break free from labels and discover their true selves. With themes of self-expression, teamwork, and standing up for what you believe in, this upbeat and heartwarming musical is the perfect stage for our Rising Stars to shine.

MEAN GIRLS: High School Edition
(TEEN DIVISION)

* Directed/Choreographed by LAURA A. RIZZO

Are you a Cady, a Regina, or maybe a Gretchen?

Join the cast of this fiercely funny, fast-paced musical where popularity is power, loyalty is tested, and high school is a battlefield—but with killer songs and heartfelt moments that make it all worth it!

Based on the hit film and Broadway show, Mean Girls: High School Version brings the iconic characters and razor-sharp humor to life in a way that’s perfect for young performers. With a catchy pop-rock score and empowering themes, this show takes a fresh look at friendship, identity, and what it really means to be kind.

When new girl Cady Heron moves from Africa to suburban Illinois, she quickly learns that North Shore High is ruled by a fearsome trio known as The Plastics. But as Cady tries to climb the social ladder—and take down queen bee Regina George—she finds herself losing sight of who she really is.

With themes of self-discovery, empathy, and standing up for others, Mean Girls: High School Version is a hilarious and heartfelt journey through the highs and lows of high school life. Get ready to slay the stage and show that kindness is always fetch!
