​​Bye Bye Birdie is a super-fun, high-energy musical that takes audiences straight into the colorful world of 1950s America—when rock & roll was brand new, teenagers were discovering their voices, and parents had no idea what all the screaming was about!

The story kicks off when Conrad Birdie, the biggest teen idol in the country, gets drafted into the army. Fans everywhere are heartbroken! To cheer everyone up, a clever songwriter and his over-the-top girlfriend come up with a wild plan: Conrad will give one lucky fan a goodbye kiss on live television. That lucky fan turns out to be Kim MacAfee, a perfectly normal teenager whose quiet small town is suddenly flipped upside down.

As TV cameras roll, parents panic, teenagers swoon, and friendships are tested, the show explores what it’s like to grow up, speak up, and figure out who you are.
Packed with catchy songs, big dance numbers, hilarious characters, and lots of laughs, Bye Bye Birdie celebrates confidence, creativity, and the excitement of being young—making it a joyful, crowd-pleasing musical for performers and audiences alike. 🎸
